About Us
We facilitate the Exchange of Agricultural Products and Natural Commodities on our dynamic Platform. AgComX was built on 4 pillars: *Client Identity, *Product Traceability, *Product Integrity and *Payments Reliability. Our services are geared towards Clients, Products & Payments. We manage the process of identifying participants, their products and facilitate secured payment, storage & logistics amongst clients on the platform.
About Clients
We complete clients’ KYC (Know Your Customer) checks during our registration process. This includes the collection of documents that will accurately identify clients, we then reconcile client’s data with public and/or privately solicited records. We may also request third party records (banks, government departments) to further confirm the capacity and identity of clients.
About Products
We provide product source (traceability), and sometimes (when requested in advance) we provide detailed records inclusive of pictures, videos, and accredited third-party documentation of production processes. Our efforts seek to provide answers to the questions of Where? What? When? and Who? in relation to products and services available on our platform.
About Payments
Paying and being paid is critical to the sustainability of businesses, and this is true for business on this platform. Security during the payment process is assured by the use of accredited processors (Credit/Debit Cards, ACH, L/C’s, Swift and Utility Block Chain Coins). Payment processes are also guaranteed by use of the world’s oldest payment instruments (LCs & BGs etc.).
Food Security Model
Food security is indeed a critical factor in economic policy formulation, as it directly impacts the well-being of individuals, communities, and the overall stability of economies. Ensuring access to safe, nutritious, and affordable food for all is essential for sustainable development.
The private sector plays a significant role in food production, distribution, and marketing, while the public sector is responsible for creating an enabling environment through policies, regulations, and investments in infrastructure and social programs.
Our goal is to advance collaboration to achieve food security goals through:
- Investment in Agricultural Infrastructure
- Research and Development
- Improving Market Access and Trade
- Support for Social Safety Nets
- Compliment Policy Coherence
- Facilitate Capacity Building and Education
- Support Climate Change Adaptation
